We use your information to operate and improve the Platform, process transactions and payments, credit cashback rewards to your wallet, communicate with you about your account and orders, prevent fraud and ensure platform security, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Payment Information
BoutLit uses Stripe to process all payments. We do not store your credit card or bank account information. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance standards.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help operate the Platform (Stripe for payments, Agora for video streaming, Pusher for live chat), and as required by law.
5. Live Streaming
When sellers go live, their video stream is transmitted through Agora's infrastructure. Viewers who join a stream may have their presence logged for analytics purposes. Chat messages are transmitted through Pusher and are visible to all stream participants.
6. Cookies
BoutLit uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session and improve your experience. You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Order history and transaction records are retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time through Settings.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may update your account information in Settings at any time. To request a copy of your data or complete deletion, contact support@boutlit.com.
9. Children's Privacy
BoutLit is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and secure payment processing through Stripe. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of BoutLit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
