Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BoutLit ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. BoutLit is a live commerce platform that connects buyers and sellers through live streaming.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use BoutLit. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@boutlit.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. BoutLit is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Platform Fees
BoutLit charges a platform fee on all transactions processed through the Platform. Sellers receive 80% of each sale. A portion of the platform fee is automatically credited back to buyers as cashback rewards. All fees are clearly displayed before purchase.
5. Seller Obligations
Sellers must accurately describe their products, maintain sufficient inventory, fulfill orders promptly, and comply with all applicable laws. Sellers are responsible for the quality and authenticity of products sold. BoutLit reserves the right to remove sellers who violate these obligations.
6. Buyer Obligations
Buyers agree to pay for all purchases made through the Platform. Cashback credits are issued automatically after successful payment and may be used toward future purchases on BoutLit. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not use BoutLit for any unlawful purpose, sell counterfeit or prohibited items, harass other users, manipulate reviews or ratings, attempt to circumvent platform fees, or engage in fraudulent transactions.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on BoutLit, including logos, designs, and software, is the property of BoutLit and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant BoutLit a license to display it on the Platform.
9. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between buyers and sellers, BoutLit may assist in mediation but is not obligated to do so. Payment disputes are handled through Stripe's dispute resolution process. Contact support@boutlit.com for assistance.
10. Limitation of Liability
BoutLit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
BoutLit reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service. Users may delete their account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, unused wallet credits will be forfeited.
12. Changes to Terms
BoutLit may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
